What's inside

Each volume uses the same layout, while adding a little bit more content as the number of lines per page increases.

  • Line-size check — A page for the parent or teacher to check which line size is best suited for the child right now. Grades and age are only a guide and there's nothing wrong with the child skipping ahead or needing a larger size to boost their confidence.
  • Pencil warm-ups — Short tracing and pattern exercises before longer writing. Use these before working with the blank pages or do a line or two before each session.
  • Alphabet reference — Uppercase and lowercase letters on one spread for quick reference. There is also space for tracing and copying the letter shape. Included are stroke guides for each letter.
  • Blank ruled pages — Plenty of empty lined pages for copy work, sentences, and everyday practice.

Match the notebook to the line size your child uses comfortably today. If letters float above the line or feel cramped, step down one volume. The grade labels are a guide—hand size and writing stamina matter more than age alone.

Start with the slightly larger lines if writing feels stressful, or the smaller lines if they already write confidently on similar paper at school. You can always repeat a volume; consistent daily practice matters more than racing ahead.
